E! has announced Jenner's new currently-untitled show will chronicle his "new normal" life as a transgender woman.

After coming out in public for the first time in a Friday interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC's 20/20, Jenner's new show will further examine the 65-year-old former Olympian's intimate story and provide additional details about his newfound womanhood.

Jenner will be shown undergoing his transition and living as a woman with all of its challenges and rewards. The eight-episode series will feature how the changes in Jenner's life will affect his friends and family.

"Bruce is incredibly courageous and an inspiration, and we are proud to be entrusted with this deeply personal and important story," E! executive Jeff Olde said in a statement. "This series will present an unfiltered look as Bruce boldly steps into uncharted territory and is true to himself for the first time."

According to the network, Jenner would still like to be referred to as a man in the media for the time being.

Jenner's new series will be a departure from Keeping Up with the Kardashians and not an official spinoff. Many sex, gender and reproduction professionals, writers, therapists, doctors, and organizations will be lending a hand to production.

The E! show is being produced by Bunim/Murray Productions with Jenner himself, Gil Goldschein, Jeff Jenkins, Farnaz Farjam, and Andrea Metz serving as executive producers.
