Despite a recent report Ray J is quitting the show because his relationship with Princess Love was suffering due to their unflattering edit, he's not going anywhere, according to TMZ.

Producers reportedly made a deal with Ray J to keep him on the show after he and Princess Love sat down with Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood creator Mona Scott on Wednesday night to discuss how they can change things for the better.

Ray J asked Scott to portray his romance in a more positive light and she agreed to find a balance because she can't just ignore the drama that attracts fans. Scott also reportedly threw in a new contract that includes ratings bonuses.

Ray J is the brother of singer Brandy Norwood and the first cousin of rapper Snoop Dogg. He's well known for his music and having starred in a couple reality series: Two seasons of VH1's dating competition For the Love of Ray J in 2009 as well as the network's Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business in 2010.

Ray J is also known for helping to jumpstart Kim Kardashian's fame. The ex-couple starred in a home pornographic video in 2003 that was made public in February 2007. Kardashian sued Vivid Entertainment for ownership of the tape but dropped the lawsuit and settled for $5 million two months later.
