The Bachelor host Chris Harrison apparently thinks the timing of Whitney Bischoff's "I love you" to Chris Soules was a little too convenient.

Bischoff confessed her love to Soules after he met her family and her older sister Kimberly refused to give him permission to propose at the end of his The Bachelor journey. Harrison believes Bischoff might've done whatever was necessary to stick around at that point.

"Whitney, I think, might've said it out of fear," Harrison told TV Guide in a recent interview.

"I think she loves him, but I was worried she said it because she was worried about the damage her sister had done. She said in that interview, 'I feel like now I need to tell him because of that,' and maybe she's not lying by any means, but her hand felt forced into going ahead and admitting it."

However, Harrison said he doesn't think the moment between Soules and Kimberly was all that bad.

"I respected how her sister handled it by saying, 'My sister is not one of three or four. When she's the one, call me, and I'd be happy to give my permission. But until then, no.' I like that; that's how I would be with my daughter," Harrison said.
