Williams has landed a deal to make his hit song "Happy" into a series of children's picture books, the Associated Press reported.

The Grammy award-winning singer inked a contract with Putnam Books for Young Readers. The publishing company will reportedly create and sell four picture books inspired by "Happy."

The book "Happy" will be released September 22 and feature photographs of children from around the world "celebrating what it means to be happy," according to Putnam Books.

The AP reported Putnam will be printing an initial 250,000 copies.

Williams will be returning to coach The Voice's upcoming eighth season. He will be joined by fellow coaches Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. It will mark Williams' second stint on the reality singing competition.
