"Sitting at a light, Riding high right before some drunk fool rear ended us in my new whip!!! Thank god everyone ok!!!" Lopez captioned a photo of the two women in Lopez's car on Saturday, when the accident occurred along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, CA.

The American Idol judge, 45, apparently had some choice words for the driver, as she added the following hashtags in her post: #GRATEFUL #THANKYOUGOD #DontdrinkandDrive!!!! #cursedthatfoolout #theBronxcameout #dontmesswithmycocnuts #mamabear #leahstayedcalm #thatwasweird."

Lopez and Remini, a 44-year-old Leah Remini: It's All Relative and former Dancing with the Stars contestant, were traveling to a Demi Lovato concert with Lopez's twins -- Max and Emme, both 6 -- and Remini's daughter Sofia, 10, in the backseat of the car, People reported.

No one was harmed.

The driver reportedly bolted the scene before formally exchanging insurance information with Lopez. According to the magazine, he got back into his pickup truck and sped off only to be arrested by police shortly afterwards.

The Malibu Police Department reportedly confirmed the driver had been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

Lopez will return to judge American Idol's upcoming fourteenth season. She also sat on the panel for Idol's tenth, eleventh and thirteenth editions. The singer and actress took Season 12 off last year to focus on her music career.

Remini competed on Dancing with the Stars' seventeenth season with pro partner Tony Dovolani. The couple finished in fifth place. Her reality series Leah Remini: It's All Relative premiered on TLC in July.
