Apollo Nida, the husband of The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, reportedly got into an epic fight with his wife before finally turning himself in to jail.

Nida, 35, entered the minimum security federal prison in Lexington, KY, early Thursday morning on September 11 after getting into a blowout fight with Parks because she had allegedly failed to place funds in his prison account, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

According to TMZ, Nida arrived at The Real Housewives of Atlanta star's home on Wednesday morning and "went nuts" over Parks' plans to not fund his prison account or bring their children to visit him during his incarceration.

Nida allegedly began shouting at Parks after forcing his way into the home, saying "what the f*** is the matter with you... I don't give a f*** about the police, call them, I dare you."

The Real Housewives of Atlanta cameras reportedly captured the entire incident, which also included Nida demanding property and packing a large bag with items from the master bedroom.

The U.S. Marshal had reportedly set Nida's prison sentence for Wednesday, September 10 at noon. Nida was sentenced to eight years in prison in July after pleading guilty to charges of bank fraud and identity theft.

Nida was told by federal authorities he must repay the $1.9 million he had allegedly made throughout his fraud scandal, according to the newspaper.

Nida posted a video on Instagram early Thursday morning, saying he had "finally arrived at the penitentiary" and was "about to go asunder." He thanked fans for their support and then added, "Stay tuned and you'll hear from me shortly."

Nida spent two months drinking, partying and going to strip clubs before turning himself in, TMZ reported.

A source similarly told E! News that Nida "has been out partying every single night" prior to entering prison, and Parks is "in the dark and it's been tough on her and the kids."

Parks' representative Steve Honig said in a media statement: "Phaedra is now putting all of her energy into ensuring the well-being of her two children and making decisions that are in their best interests. This situation has put a tremendous strain on Phaedra and her family, and she is working hard to bring back a sense of normalcy to everyone's lives."

With the situation now "uncomfortable," the E! News source added, "When [Apollo] does speak to Phaedra, it's always about money. He owes a huge debt in restitution and he wants to know if she's going to help him with it. 'Are you going to give me money?' is always his question. He still wants her financial support."

Nida pleaded guilty in early May after laundering over $2.3 million in the last four years by creating fake companies to steal people's identities in order to open fraudulent bank accounts in their names and deposit stolen money, according to the website. He had been arrested on such charges back in January.

They welcomed their first child, a son named Ayden, in 2010. Parks then gave birth to their second child, a son named Dylan, in May 2013.
