Big Brother houseguest Frankie Grande had become the week's Head of Household and won the Power of Veto to keep his nominations the same, but all that work went down the tubes with the season's new "live rewind" twist that was introduced during Wednesday night's 35th broadcast of the show's sixteenth season on CBS.

After Frankie nominated Victoria Rafaeli and Cody Calafiore for eviction and decided to keep them on the block, the houseguests assumed a live eviction was going to take place -- just one day earlier than usual. However, just as the first person was about to vote, Big Brother host Julie Chen revealed that because the group had decided to push the big button, the "live rewind" would take them back one week.

The "live rewind" forced the players to go back in time before the week's HoH competition took place. They must do the HoH competition and PoV competition all over again, which means Frankie may no longer be the HoH and Cody and Victoria can come down off the block. Derrick Levasseur still couldn't compete in the HoH competition because he was the outgoing HoH at the time it commenced.

Prior to the "live rewind" twist, Cody worried about there being a split vote, because if Caleb Reynolds decided to flip on him, Frankie could determine who gets evicted as the tie-breaking vote.

However, Victoria remained Frankie's No.1 target because she was "too tempting" to take to the end. Frankie thought every guy would want to take her, which would lower his chances of getting to the Final 2. He knew if he ended up sitting on the block next to Victoria the following week, he'd be going home. Derrick agreed Victoria needed to go, and she wasn't in the dark. Victoria figured the guys were in an alliance together and there was a "0.1 percent chance" they'd change their minds.

Derrick spent a lot of time with Victoria and talked to her so that he'd have her vote once she entered the jury house. He also tried to convince Frankie he'd have a tough time winning in the end against either Caleb or Cody, as Caleb won many competitions and neither guy ever really backstabbed or hurt anyone in the house. Frankie saw through Derrick's strategy and still wasn't convinced Derrick wasn't a bigger threat to win than both of the other two guys.

Derrick then talked Victoria into pretending they were in an argument. Victoria put her acting skills to the test and told Frankie she no longer liked Derrick as a person because he had admitted to her he wasn't going to keep her safe. Victoria wanted Derrick to get to the Final 2 if she couldn't, so she acted betrayed and pissed. Frankie completely bought the performance and warned Derrick of Victoria's change of heart. Derrick acted like it didn't bother him.

After the jury was shown discussing who should win the game -- either Derrick or Frankie -- the episode concluded with the HoH competition. The winner will be revealed during Sunday night's Big Brother episode.
