French Montana openly admitted he'd like to take advantage of the fame that comes with being in a high-profile relationship with Khloe Kardashian, and despite outraged Kardashian fans, the reality TV insists she couldn't care less about it.

In a recent interview with Billboard Magazine, Montana discussed being in the spotlight more thanks to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star's popularity and acknowledged, "I want to capitalize on it."

The rapper added, "I'll get a fan base from everywhere. I just hope I'll be able to connect with everything that's going on."

Although Kardashian fans have bashed Montana for making such comments in light of her bad December divorce from Lamar Odom, who allegedly cheated on her and abused drugs, Kardashian apparently isn't bothered by it at all.

"It's amusing to me that Y'all think I don't see it. I was the first one to see it. I just don't care," Kardashian, 30, tweeted on Sunday.

Montana, 29, told Billboard his girlfriend has had a lot of say on his new album, "Mac & Cheese," which is scheduled to be released later this year.

Besides appearing in the rapper's new "Don't Panic" music video, Kardashian has "definitely given her feedback on the songs," Montana said, adding that the track "Explicit" is her favorite.

Montana, however, declined to reveal whether he will be filmed for an upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

"I'm in a beautiful headspace," he noted with a smile. "Wait and see."
