So You Think You Can Dance eliminated Stanley Glover and determined the eleventh season's Top 16 contestants during last Wednesday night's live performance show on Fox.

In addition to Stanley, a 19-year-old Contemporary dancer from Chicago, IL, Jourdan Epstein, a 24-year-old Ballet dancer from Plymouth, MN, also got eliminated by So You Think You Can Dance judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy as well as guest judge Misty Copeland after they found themselves in the week's bottom-six dancers based on home viewer votes cast immediately following the previous Wednesday night's show.

In a recent exclusive interview with Reality TV World, Stanley talked about his So You Think You Can Dance experience. Below is what he had to say. To read our interview with Jourdan, click here.

Reality TV World: Stanley, you weren't in the bottom six last week. So could you talk a little bit about whether you were surprised to get eliminated or had a feeling it might be your time to go?

Stanley Glover: For me, last week I had a Broadway number by Spencer Liff and unfortunately the judges -- we didn't feel the connection that the judges wanted. So this week, I had a feeling that I might've been in the bottom six. But I'm always ready to give it my all and give my heart and leave my heart on the stage. So... if things happen, they're going to happen, and I just enjoyed every last minute that I had on the stage.

Reality TV World: I want to know how you feel about the fact none of the bottom-six dancers each week can dance for their lives anymore. Obviously that part of the format has been removed from the show, so do you guys feel a little robbed this season? Do you wish you had one more chance to do a solo if you're in danger in order to convince the judges to keep you around?

Stanley Glover: I wish they brought back the "dance for your life" because I was hoping to show everything that I can do. But at the same time, things do change and you have to show them in other styles why you deserve to be here.

So it's definitely a learning experience as well, so you can grow. You have to stay stagnant in what you love to do but show what else you can do besides your style. So, it's kind of a bittersweet feeling.

Reality TV World: Viewers learned you're an aspiring male model. How had that been going for you prior to the show and did your decision to try out for So You Think You Can Dance have anything to do with wanting to gain exposure for that modeling career?

Stanley Glover: It definitely wasn't for me to get exposure for it, but if it helped, I would love to do it. Dance was always my first love and they asked for other hobbies, like what I like to do and what America doesn't know about me.

And I do hope to be an aspiring model, and I plan on doing both of them. So it's definitely just something that I stepped my foot into, but dance was my first love and always will be my first love. But there's other things that you can do other than dance, but it's just been great, you know?

Reality TV World: There's apparently a little romance blooming between Jacque LeWarne and Rudy Abreu. Was that obvious to all of you and are there any other little love connections happening this season?

Stanley Glover: (Laughs) I don't know. I just personally think they're so cute together. (Laughs) I'm wondering, like, what's going to happen later in the season.

Reality TV World: The week when America cast votes that resulted in your ouster, you performed that telephone routine with Malene Ostergaard and the judges bashed it a little bit. They didn't like how the phones were used as props throughout the entire routine. It seemed like the judges' negative comments were more angled toward the choreography rather than your skills or talent as dancers. Since you went home because of that routine, does that frustrate you at all?

Stanley Glover: It doesn't disappoint or frustrate me at all actually. You just never know. It's a game of chance. At the end of the day, this is still a competition and it's still a TV show, so the phones, it wasn't up to us to decide if we were going to leave or anything.

Me and Malene, we gave it our best and I'm actually really happy about our performances. We didn't drop the phone or get tangled up like we did in rehearsal, so that was one good aspect of it and when we got onstage, we were just so happy together. And as Malene said, that's all you can really ask for, is knowing that you did the best that you could do with what you were given, you know?

Reality TV World: Were you a fan of So You Think You Can Dance before you appeared on the show and was this season the first time you had ever auditioned for it?

Stanley Glover: I was a fan of the show. I've been watching since Season 3 and I've been a fan ever since of a lot of people that have been on the show.

And just imagining that I could've made it this far definitely was a shocker to me, because I never thought I would audition and get this far. And this was my first time auditioning, so I'm glad I took that step to go forward and be confident and try out. And look [where] it [got] me!
