The Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman eliminated Chris Soules and narrowed her love search to two final men during Monday night's broadcast of the ABC reality dating series' tenth season.

The Bachelorette's ninth tenth-season episode featured Andi's fantasy-suite dates with Chris, a 32-year-old farmer from Arlington, IA; Josh Murray, a 29-year-old former professional baseball player from Atlanta, GA; and Nick Viall, a 33-year-old software sales executive from Chicago, IL.

However, Andi ousted Chris before they embarked on the overnight portion of their date because she couldn't envision herself settling down in Iowa on his family's farm. She also felt she lacked the foundation in her relationship with Chris to consider moving.

"I just had my heartbroken and I put everything out there," Chris said in tears following his ouster. "I'm just sad, disappointed and I do have some questions as to what the hell just happened. It's like, what do you do? I mean, what the hell do I do?"

The individual dates in the Dominican Republic began with Nick and Andi taking a helicopter ride. Andi was on Cloud 9 and Nick didn't think he could ever feel about someone else the way he felt about Andi. He could see her being his fiancee for sure. The couple then landed on a private island and Andi thought he was very sexy and passionate. Nick knew they had an incredible intensity and "just fit."

That night, Andi and Nick enjoyed dinner on the beach. Nick told Andi he was quirky with "a childlike sense of wonder." He then read Andi a fairy tale book he wrote and the story exaggerated his own journey on The Bachelorette. When he read the story, Andi pictured him as a father and it was a side of him that she hadn't seen yet.

Andi then asked Nick to join her in the fantasy suite and he accepted. Nick couldn't wait "to talk her ear off" all night with a little rest in between. Before they went into the suite, Nick told Andi, "I don't think you'll be too shocked, but I love what I know about you."

After listing all the qualities he loved about her, Nick confessed, "I love you Andi, like I'm really in love with you and it's terrifying, but you're it for me. I don't know what it is, but when you know, you know."

The couple kissed numerous times, and when Nick looked at Andi, she said he saw every part of her -- her heart and her soul.

The next day, Andi went on her date with Josh. Andi wondered if things were too good to be true with him, and she was putting a lot of pressure on the date. She just needed more from Josh than he's "falling in love."

The pair explored the streets of Santo Domingo together. Andi felt "young and vibrant" with Josh; She was simply drawn to him. They danced to live music and Andi appreciated how fun and carefree Josh was. The couple then played baseball with local children, and Josh loved how she paid attention to things he enjoys doing.

Andi was convinced Josh would be a great father. Likewise, Josh saw Andi as a perfect mother and wife. His feelings were so strong, he apparently never felt that way for another girl before. When talking about his family and his hometown date, Josh said, "I do love you." Josh explained that he had never really meant those words when saying them in the past. It was hard for him to not hear how Andi felt about him in return.

"I am totally in love with Andi and it's definitely gone through the roof," Josh said in a confessional. "I don't know what 'beyond love' is, but I'm definitely beyond that right now."

Andi was relieved to learn how Josh felt, and later that night, the couple had dinner at a resort. Andi still needed to figure out whether Josh was a serious guy because he was always so happy and perky all the time. Andi didn't think Josh was cocky because he was too goofy.

Andi and Josh laughed about how they were going to have to put up with one another, as both parties were admittedly a lot to deal with. Andi finally saw a maturity and seriousness about Josh. She knew deep down that Josh meant the things he said. Josh then accepted the fantasy-suite date invitation. He said he was looking forward to hanging out and connecting more. The couple watched fireworks and gazed out at the stars before entering the suite.

Josh was ready to propose to Andi and offer her a lifetime of "unconditional love, support and protection."

The following day, Andi embarked on her date with Chris.

In Rancho Peligro, Andi and Chris went horseback riding through the countryside. Andi was nervous about the activity, but Chris liked the fact he could keep her safe. At this point, Andi wasn't sure whether she was comfortable enough with Chris to spend the night with him in the fantasy suite. Chris, however, told the cameras he was falling more and more in love with Andi every day.

Andi told Chris that his family was the best she had ever met and she loved them. That strengthened their connection in Chris' eyes. After playing a little game of "hide and seek," which reenacted their hometown date, Andi realized there was something between them but she needed a factor to either sway her from or to the overnight date.

That night, the couple enjoyed dinner at a resort.

"There really is no question that I'm in love with Andi. I'm in love with everything about her, the person she is and the person she strives to be. I love all those things," Chris said in a confessional.

But Andi was simply trying to send Chris home. She expressed the risk she'd be taking by moving to Iowa, and Chris recognized the potential difficulty and transition. He did remind her that there are opportunities for smart attorneys in Iowa all the while explaining she wouldn't have to figure things out alone.

Chris suggested he'd be willing to make sacrifices, but Andi immediately interrupted him, insisting farming was in Chris' blood and his heart belonged in Iowa. Andi found herself at a crossroads between having an amazing guy in front of her and also being unsure about their connection.

After Chris told Andi there wasn't one thing about her that he wished he could change, he admitted, "I say I'm falling in love with you, but I really am in love with you."

Andi realized she didn't feel the same way and broke down into tears. She couldn't really see herself in Iowa, but she also believed they lacked the foundation to become engaged.

Andi explained she had more respect for Chris than to simply blame her decision to let him go on Iowa. She didn't want to make him sit around for days and wait for a Rose Ceremony when she was well aware she was trying to find something that just wasn't there.

Chris, although heartbroken and disappointed, appreciated and respected Andi for the way she handled the situation.

"Every part of me feels like I'm an idiot for not being able to reciprocate it towards you," Andi told Chris, adding that he was smart, successful and amazing on paper.

Andi summed it up as her head and her heart just didn't match up.

"I should probably go," Chris noted. "You can't control your feelings. I want your feelings to be for me, and if they're not, I want to go home... It's not meant to be and I'm lucky enough that you cared enough to tell me."

Andi felt she had made the right choice in sending Chris home, and she was thoroughly impressed with how classy he departed. She believed she could find "a great love" with Josh or Nick, and if she could do the process all over again, she'd pick the same Final 2 guys.

Later on, at the Rose Ceremony, Andi offered Nick and Josh a rose and asked them to only accept it if they were sure they wanted a future with her. Both men thought they were the better match for Andi.
