Peta Murgatroyd is apparently more than excited to have her original partner James Maslow back after working with the "fun" and extremely "sweet" Charlie White for last week's "Switch-Up" challenge.

"It feels so good to be back with James. You bond with your partner from week one, and to have him gone for a week was really weird. We've just got this chemistry that is like no other," Murgatroyd wrote in her People blog.

While Murgatroyd was dancing with White, the Nickelodeon star and Big Time Rush singer was temporarily paired up with pro dancer Cheryl Burke. Both Maslow and Murgatroyd had jokingly expressed how much they missed each other during last Monday night's show.

"Cheryl returned him in fine form. She cracked the whip on him, which was really good. She was harsh on him and he learned a lot. I had already taught him a lot before, she just brushed him up on it all. His skills are much better than they were on week one," Murgatroyd explained.

As for this week of the competition, Murgatroyd said she's looking forward to the Disney theme. The celebrities and their professional partners will be allowed to do lifts.

"For Disney week, I can't say exactly what movie we're doing or whether I'll be a princess, but I can say I'm going to be a pretty lady. The costumes are going to be extraordinary," Murgatroyd said.

"I'm super excited about this because of James' physicality. He's very strong. I have a lot of lifts in the routine. The songs we have are really emotional, really get to the characters and the meaning behind everything. I can't wait."

Reports have been circulating for weeks Murgatroyd and Maslow are dating but trying to keep their relationship under wraps in order to maintain some professionalism this eighteenth season. The couple reportedly went on a date February 4 but then didn't see each other again until Day 1 of the competition.

When Murgatroyd, 27, learned she'd be paired with Maslow, 23, for Dancing with the Stars this season, she was blindsided and shocked.

"I actually met James once before for dinner. We kind of hit it off. I thought he was a good-looking guy, and then, he went away on tour for two weeks and I didn't see him until he walked into the studio," Murgatroyd told a producer during the March 17 season premiere.

"We're keeping things professional right now," Maslow told the cameras during the same broadcast. "Would I take her on another date? Yeah, she's a really cool girl. But right now, we're really here for the same reason. We want to win."

Following the show's premiere, the couple was caught flirting and being affectionate with one another at a party, further fueling rumors they're an item.
