The Globe and Mail reports that Ryan Sutter, one of the final two men competing for Trista Rehn's affection on The Bachelorette, may be headed to the Great White North to resume his football career.
According to the Bombers' general manager, Sutter's agent says that Ryan is once again interested in the gridiron, and the Bombers still hold his CFL rights. Whether hot Trista would be interested in following Ryan to arctic-cold Winnipeg (if she picks him over Charlie) is an unanswered question. If Ryan does head for the CFL, he'll have company from another of Trista's boy toys. Jeff Popovich, who was booted in the second episode, has signed with the Montreal Alouettes. Like Sutter, Popovich is a defensive back and has also spent time in the NFL and NFL Europe after college.
