It's official -- America's favorite Survivor sweetheart has gotten hitched (sorry guys!) The Providence Journal reports that Elisabeth Filarski, the 25-year-old former 'Survivor: Australia' contestant wed her college boyfriend, former Boston College quarterback Tim Hasselbeck, 24, this past Saturday. In keeping with her design background, the bride designed her own wedding gown.
Filarski's father, Kenneth, said the couple tied the knot before about 200 guests at St. Mary's Church in Cranston, RI, affiliated with the parish school Filarski attended through grade school. They posed for pictures at the Rhode Island State House and were feted at a reception at the Federal Reserve restaurant in downtown Providence, he said. Filarski hosts a show on cable TV's Style Network and had lived in Newton, MA. She said last year she could end up living wherever her husband hooks on with an NFL team, or even Hollywood. In her Style Network program 'The Look for Less' the petite blonde offers tips on looking stylish on a budget.
