On Tuesday, Karen O’Neil-Ganci won the Power of Veto but chose not to use it, keeping Adria and Michael Ellis (aka "Cowboy") on the block.

Adria received four votes for eviction from houseguests Drew Daniel, Diane Henry, Jennifer Dedmon (aka "Nakomis"), and Karen. The vote was unanimous – no one voted to evict Michael. Marvin was ineligible to vote as Head of Household.

During the live broadcast, the fitness professional from Birmingham, AL, learned her fate, said her good-byes and left the house. After leaving Big Brother 5, Adria was interviewed by Julie Chen about her experience. Adria becomes the third member of the jury along with her twin sister, Natalie Carroll, and Will Wikle.

Following Adria's eviction, the remaining houseguests then competed in the "Chemical Reaction" competition to see who would become the next Head of Household. Drew, the 22-year-old recent college graduate from Urbana, Ohio, won the coveted position. Then, after Drew received his celebratory congratulations from the other houseguests, in a surprise twist, the houseguests were told that they have to evict another member of the house in the next 48 hours.

In the jammed-packed episode on Saturday, September 4 at 9PM ET/PT, the new Head of Household, Drew, will choose two nominees, the Power of Veto competition and ceremony will be held and the houseguests will vote who they want to see leave the house and join Will, Natalie and Adria on the jury. A competition for the new HOH will also be held.

Big Brother 5 is broadcast three nights a week on Tuesdays, (9-10PM ET/PT), Thursdays (8-9PM ET/PT) and Saturdays, (9-10PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
