MTV has announced that the third season of Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica, the series that follows pop couple Jessica Simpson and Nick Lackey's perpetual television honeymoon, will premiere on Wednesday, June 16 at 10PM ET/PT.

The third season of Newlyweds will open with change in the air, as Nick and Jessica's lives have become more hectic and eventful than ever. The newlyweds will also be gaining a houseguest (and, no, it's not Kato Kaelin) when Jessica's best friend CaCee moves into their house and Nick struggles to get alone time.

Other highlights of the upcoming new ten-episode season include Jessica "getting lucky" at the Kentucky Derby, Nick and his brother Drew escaping to Fiji for an adventure vacation, and Nick and Jessica testing the parental waters as they take care of a friend’s baby and are forced to deal with the dreaded diaper change.

For those viewers who just can't get enough Simpson exposure, MTV has also announced that The Ashlee Simpson Show, which follows Jessica's little sister as she attempts to journey from television actress (7th Heaven) to pop star, will premiere at 10:30PM ET/PT after Newlyweds' 10PM premiere.
