Couldn't get enough of The Swan? Well don't get too upset, because as part of last week's unveiling of its 2004-2005 schedule, FOX announced that it will air a second installment of the series as part of its fall programming slate.

Premiering as part of FOX's November 2004 programming schedule, the eleven-episode second series will air in the same Monday 9PM ET/PT time period as the current show, where FOX hopes it will benefit from the addition of North Shore, a 20-something ensemble drama series starring former reality television host Brooke Burns, as its 8PM lead-in. North Shore, centering around the comings and goings at a luxurious Hawaiian hotel -- imagine NBC's Las Vegas series, only set in Hawaii instead -- will premiere as part of the network's summer programming slate.

"It's doing really good numbers from virtually no lead-in at all," Mike Darnell, FOX's vice president of alternative programming, recently told Daily Variety. "And we can feel the show growing."

According to Variety, in addition to the eleven episode second edition, the show's producers are also hoping to put together a "Where Are They Now" special that would revisit some of the show's makeover participants.

For those interested in participating in The Swan 2, casting has begun. Producers are looking for female contestants between the ages of 21 and 45. Videotaped submissions can be sent to 523 Victoria Avenue, Venice, CA 90291. For more audition and submission information, log on to the website at www.swancasting.com or call 1-800-535-7936.
