Last week's penultimate episode of ABC's second edition of The Bachelorette drew 11.33 million overall viewers and a 5.1/12 rating/share in the Adults 18-49 demographic, a performance that ranked it as the network's third most watched program of the week (behind Sunday's Super Millionaire premiere and a special Monday February 16 edition of Primetime).

Despite having ABC's weak 8-9 PM sitcoms as its lead-in, Bachelorette managed to edge out FOX's The O.C. (which had the benefit of another enormous American Idol lead-in) as the top ranked Adults 18-49 program in its time period (5.1/12 versus 5.0/12), and most watched (11.33 million versus 10.95 million).

The Bachelorette was also the top ranked show in its time period among Adults 25-54 (5.5/12) and Women 18-49 (7.0/16).

The Bachelorette also grew significantly from its first half-hour to its second, gaining 1.5 million viewers (10.5 million to 12.0 million) and growing 20% among Adults 18-49 (4.6/11 to 5.5/13).
