Apparently FOX had good reason to, as of late December, be claiming that the plans for the network's special "all new" one-hour January 13 The Simple Life penultimate episode were "still being finalized."

That's because it turns out the episode isn't going to be broadcasting any footage of Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie's stay in a small Arkansas town, but will instead feature a special recently filmed reunion between the girls and Altus, Arkansas residents.

Airing Tuesday, January 13 at 8-9 PM ET on FOX and hosted by Leeza Gibbons, The Simple Life Reunion special will reunite Paris and Nicole with the Leding family, as well as some of their former bosses and ex-"boyfriends."

In addition to interview segments during which the girls will be answering questions from an audience of over 300 local residents, The Simple Life Reunion will feature exclusive, never-before-seen footage of their time spent on the farm and also highlight some of the most outrageous and hilarious moments from the series.

Following Tuesday's reunion, in the final half-hour episode airing Wednesday, January 14 at 8:30 PM ET, Nicole loses her purse and her temper at a local club, so Janet tells the girls they must go and make amends. While in town, the girls discover a newfound love of roadkill. Afterwards, Paris and Nicole must pack up their things and say good-bye to the Ledings and the simple life in Arkansas.
