Taking a page from CBS's standard practice of repeating the premiere episode of its Survivor series, NBC has announced that it will air an encore broadcast of the first episode of its hit Average Joe series on Saturday, November 8 at 9 PM ET.

Average Joe premiered Monday, November 3 and scored strong ratings numbers despite airing versus CBS's CSI: Miami and ABC's Monday Night Football, both of which are regular members of Nielsen's weekly list of the week's top ten rated programs. The program's Monday 10 PM ET broadcast drew 11.2 million viewers and a 5.8 rating and 15 share in the Adults 18-49 demographic.

The numbers were NBC’s highest in-season rating with regular programming in the hour since May 2002 and the highest rating in the Adults 18-49 demographic for a new reality show series premiere on any network since FOX's Joe Millioniare January 2003.
