"Monday Night Football," featuring a repeat of last NFL season's NFC championship game and the Super Bowl winning Tampa Bay Bucs, scored a 12.1/19 rating/share average from 9 to 11 PM to win the two-hour block. The finale of NBC's "For Love Or Money 2" however was a strong second, posting a 7.7/11 in it's first hour and improving to a 9.5/15 for the second hour of the two-hour finale.

The Hollywood Reporter notes that the two-hour averaged 11 million overall viwers and a 5.7/14 rating/share in the all-important Adults 18-49 demographic, the second highest nonsports Adults 18-49 numbers this summer (behind only the finale of the original "For Love Or Money" series.) The "For Love Or Money 2" finale peaked at 14.3 million viewers and a 6.9/18 from 10:30-11 PM.

At 9 PM, CBS' "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "The King of Queens" averaged a 7.2/11 for CBS while FOX placed fourth with "Paradise Hotel," 4.0/6.
