Another "American Idol" assault charge surfaces, Corey Clark also facing charges

The Smoking Gun reports that American Idol finalist Corey Clark will be on trial next month for charges stemming from an incident at his family's home in Topeka, Kansas. Clark faces three misdemeanor charges for allegedly assaulting his 15-year-old sister and resisting arrest.

This is not Clark's first brush with the law, either. He has been sued twice for passing bad checks, first by Wal-Mart and then by a Topeka grocery store.
