Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines say they find rumors and reports they are divorcing "hilarious."

The "Fixer Upper" stars addressed reports of a split Thursday on "Today" following news of their collaboration with Target.

"It's funny," Chip Gaines told host Jenna Bush Hager. "When I think about these circumstances, I think they're hilarious. I'm like, I can't believe that these things are happening to us 'cause part of me thinks, who would care about that?"

Joanna Gaines said they do their best to let people know the tabloid headlines don't reflect their personal lives.

"I don't do great with seeing that kind of stuff, reading into it. I just don't know what's going on," she said.

"So then I'll hear someone come up to me and say, 'I hear you and Chip are getting a divorce.' I'm like, 'Where did you hear [that]?'"

"I don't know any of this is going on, so we do our due diligence in letting people know, 'Hey, this isn't us. Don't be scammed,'" she added.

Chip and Joanna have been married 14 years and share four children: sons Drake and Duke and daughters Ella and Emmie.

The couple have starred on Fixer Upper since 2013, and will release a home and lifestyle line with Target in the fall.

Target announced in a press release this week that the Hearth & Hand with Magnolia home and lifestyle brand will debut in November.

The collection will include over 300 items, including home decor and gifts.

"Partnering with Chip and Joanna to create a modern farmhouse collection available only at Target allows us to offer an aesthetic we know our guests will love, and the quality and affordable prices can't be beat," Target executive vice president Mark Tritton said.
