The six-minute, still untitled song was dropped on Big Boy's 92.3, where West told the radio host he had been working on the track for quite a while, according to Time.

"I had the basic beat for a year and a half," he said. "It sounded right for this project. This is the hook we should have for the first single."

Ahead of his interview with the radio station, West announced he was going to play the single on Twitter.

"Tune into Big Boy's 92.3 I'm about to play the first single from Cruel Winter," he wrote Friday.

The new track, which West hinted will be much longer on "Cruel Winter," features members of the G.O.O.D. Music label, like Big Sean and Desiigner.

Yo Gotti, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Quavo and Travi$ Scott are also featured on the song.

"Cruel Winter" was originally the sequel to G.O.O.D. Music's "Cruel Summer," but was reportedly nixed in 2013, according to rapper Pusha T.
