The 25-year-old reality personality and former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant posted a photo of herself with her 3-week-old infant and 7-year-old sibling on Instagram, writing, "Trig officially loves her #mybrotherhasmorechromosomesthanyou."

Palin is the oldest daughter of former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin and Todd Palin, while Trig is the younger of the couple's sons.

The 7-year-old has Down syndrome, a genetic disorder caused by a third copy of chromosome 21.

Palin, who is also mother to 7-year-old son Tripp, gave birth to Sailor on Dec. 23.

The television personality faced criticism for having a second child out of wedlock following her pregnancy announcement, and defended herself on social media after her daughter's birth.

"Never thought 2015 would play out like it did, but I look at my babies and know everything is exactly where it should be," she wrote.

"[Cheers] to a new year and [peace] to anyone who's got anything to say about it."

Palin is mom to Tripp with ex-fiance Levi Johnston, and reportedly shares Sailor with ex-fiance Dakota Meyer, from whom she split in May.

Meyer claims to be Sailor's father, and filed for child support and joint custody of the infant this month.

"For many months we have been trying to reach out to Dakota Myers [sic] and he has wanted nothing to do with either Bristol's pregnancy or the baby," Sarah Palin said in response.

"Paramount to the entire Palin family is the health and welfare of Sailor Grace."

Sarah Palin and her husband are also parents to 26-year-old son Track, 21-year-old daughter Willow and 14-year-old daughter Piper. The family appeared on the former governor's Sportsman Channel reality series, "Amazing America."
