Jessa Duggar Seewald says she attempted to bring about labor by eating an entire pineapple, but, so far, it has not worked.

"Haha! So has anyone else tried the "eating an entire fresh pineapple" thing for helping to bring on labor? Apparently it doesn't work for everyone, 'cause I ate the whole thing yesterday... and still no signs of labor! (Sure was a tasty pineapple tho!" the pregnant 22-year-old said in an Instagram post Saturday.

"Guess #BabySeewald still wants to camp out in there a little longer! Patience, Mama, patience... #39weeks5days."

Duggar Seewald married Ben Seewald in November 2014. The couple announced in April they are expecting their first child. Her due date is Sunday.

Duggar Seewald and her family came to fame on the TLC docu-series "19 Kids & Counting," which was canceled in the wake of Jessa's brother Josh's sex-abuse scandal.

The 27-year-old admitted to molesting five girls, including Jessa, when he was a teen, and later confessed to cheating on wife Anna Duggar.
