The 44-year-old reality star addressed critics of her weight Tuesday on "The Meredith Vieira Show." Frankel recently caused concern with her slim appearance on vacation, but denied she needs to put on more pounds.

"I feel like, who cares," she declared to host Meredith Vieira. "They are always going to say something. I do have a brand called Skinnygirl, so I am going to get beaten up for it. IT would be bad if I were overweight and had a brand called Skinnygirl, could you imagine?"

Frankel came to fame on Bravo reality series "The Real Housewives of New York," and launched Skinnygirl Cocktails in 2011. She also authored several Skinnygirl lifestyle books, including The Skinnygirl Dish: Easy Recipes for Your Naturally Thin Life.

Frankel often makes headlines for her weight, and caused controversy by wearing her four-year-old daughter's Hello Kitty pajamas in July 2014. She responded to critics by posting a photo in men's clothing, but was later warned by a judge to stop wearing her daughter's outfits.

The reality star is confirmed for season seven of "The Real Housewives of New York." Ramona Singer, LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson and Kristen Taekman are also expected to return, sans season six star Aviva Drescher.
