The 55-year-old rapper, real name William Drayton, was sentenced to a year of probation and 12 domestic-violence counseling sessions.

The assault charges stem from a 2012 incident involving the teenage son of his fiancee. According to court documents, Drayton and his fiancee, Elizabeth Trujillo, got into an altercation at their Las Vegas home, where police said the rapper pushed her to the ground.

When Trujillo told her son, he confronted Drayton, who began chasing the teenager with two kitchen knives. Trujillo told police that Drayton threatened to kill her son.

"I just want my good credibility life back," Drayton said of the deal. "That's all I want."

Drayton, Trujillo and her son reconciled after the incident.
