Steve Wilkos wasn't seriously injured when he was smacked in the head with a metal bowl by fighting guests on his talk show in Stamford, Conn., TMZ reported.
Wilkos, 48, was hit above the eye and temporarily blinded but is now fine, TMZ said.
The bowl, a prop on the set of the show, was dented in the fracas and has since been nailed down, so it can't be used as a weapon again, the celebrity news website said.
Wilkos was the former director of security of "The Jerry Springer Show" before becoming host of "The Steve Wilkos Show" in 2007.
