Illegals 'Hunting Season' stickers pulled

UPI News Service, 02/08/2013

The company that owns a Colorado gas station said bumper stickers joking about hunting illegal immigrants have been pulled from the stores.

Employees at a Cenex gas station in Eaton, Colo., said they made a mistake in selling a bumper sticker reading, "Illegal Immigrant Hunting Permit" with other print reading "No Bag Limit" and "Tagging not required," KUSA-TV, Denver, reported Friday.

"I don't know if we just missed one or two in there but those were not supposed to be there," a worker said.

Mark Reinert, a spokesman for Agfinity, the company that owns the Cenex gas station, said the stickers were pulled after complaints from customers on Facebook. He said the company has no official comment on the stickers.

The stickers were manufactured by Kansas company Central States Novelty. A woman who answered the phone at the company's listed number said the owner wasn't available for comment, KUSA-TV said.
