The companies, Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, filed a lawsuit against Motion in Time, alleging the shop has been selling used and refurbished watches and claiming the pricy timepieces are "new," the New York Post reported Wednesday.
The lawsuit is seeking to have the used Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels watches turned over "for destruction."
The suit also seeks unspecified damages for unfair competition, false advertising and trademark dilution.
