Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch extend 'Little Night Music' run

Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch have extended their runs in the Broadway revival of "A Little Night Music," the show's producers said Tuesday.

The pair will remain in the musical through Jan. 9 due to popular demand.
The actresses were originally only scheduled to perform through Nov. 7 and will now stay with the production through its final performance at Manhattan's Walter Kerr Theatre.
The show will have played 20 previews and 425 regular performances.
