The E! network Wednesday announced it has renewed the reality series "Gastineau Girls" for a second season.

"Season one of the Gastineau Girls was a hit among our viewers, who truly fell in love with and related to this quirky and unconventional mother-daughter team," Lisa Berger, senior VP of programming development at E!, said in making the announcement.

"We're pleased to invite our viewers into Lisa and Brittny's lives for another season."

The show follows socialites Lisa and Brittny Gastineau through various phases of their busy lives. The second season will debut in December.
