Professional wrestler Hulk Hogan told Sunday's New York Post he's doing a reality show for VH1 to help his daughter be a star.

"I'm doing it to help my daughter Brooke's music career," Hogan said. "If Lindsay Lohan has the big screen and the Simpson girls have TV for a vehicle, this will even the playing field. But now my whole family is into it and we're having fun doing it."

"Hogan Knows Best" chronicles Hogan and his wife, Linda, and their two children, Brooke, 16, and Nick, 14.

Hogan said his parenting technique is simple: "I call 'em like I see 'em."

Parents seeking to emulate him, he said, would need to "dial it back a little bit, but if they follow my lead everything will turn out OK."

Hogan will be fighting Shawn Michaels in a title match during the "WWE SummerSlam" pay-per-view wrestling event on Aug. 21.
