Houston couple Uchenna and Joyce Agu begged for the money to pay a Miami cabbie before they grabbed the $1 million prize in CBS' seventh "The Amazing Race."

The pair beat the favorites, "Survivor" contestants Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich, in the reality TV contest.

Contestants worked their way from Long Beach, Calif., through South America, Africa, India, Europe and the Caribbean to Miami, the network said.

The Agus, who were stripped of their belongings and money according to race rules, begged passersby to pay the cab driver who delivered them just outside the Miami finish line.

"It was all about honor," Uchenna Agu said. "That cab driver was going to get his money."

The one-time energy broker for Enron and former WorldCom sales manager said they would use the money for bills, a trip and starting a family -- by adoption if a free round of in-vitro fertilization fails to work.
