Durst plays a Satanist who kidnaps the stepson of "Revelations" star Bill Pullman and tries to lure the son to the dark side, the New York Daily News reports.
Durst's character is to appear in at least four episodes of NBC's Wednesday night drama, which director Lili Fini Zanuck invited him to join.
Separately, Durst was suing several Web sites for posting a three-minute sex video of him that the Limp Bizkit frontman said was stolen from a computer he brought in for repair.
