Twentieth Television will hold back the launch of "The Suze Orman Show" in syndication, possibly until fall 2006, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

The paper said the distributor had planned to launch the show this fall, but changed its plan due to a shortage of desirable time slots.
"While momentum for the strip has been building, fewer available attractive time periods in fall 2005 and the current economics of launching a daytime strip constrain the manner in which we wish to bring this very important program to viewers," said Twentieth Television in a statement. "In our view, there is much greater potential for 'Suze Orman' in fall 2006 or possibly earlier."
Orman -- the author of several best-selling books on personal finance, including "The 9 Steps to Financial Freedom" -- is currently the host of a weekend show on CNBC.
