Leonardo DiCaprio was so engrossed in playing Howard Hughes that he showed signs of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, a condition the tycoon suffered from.

Dr. Jeffrey Schwartz, an OCD expert from UCLA, said Sunday he was "extremely concerned" for the actor's health during filming of "The Aviator," Scotsman.com reported.
Replicating the condition caused a mild form of OCD that DiCaprio suffered during his childhood to re-emerge and worsen, Schwartz said.
"There were times when it was getting not so easy for him to control it," Schwartz said while at an OCD conference at Stirling University. "By playing Hughes and giving into his own compulsions, Leo induced a more severe form of OCD in himself."
Schwartz was called in by "Aviator" director Martin Scorsese to help DiCaprio in the role of Hughes and replicate the condition.
